Oculusai offer two unique services for sites that want more control of uploaded images. A real time service called AIR REAL TIME that instantly rejects flawed images and a general service called AIR BASIC that checks images within the space of 24 hours. By registering for a free trial account you can easily test these two services. Our automated image rejection products offer the following features:

Face detection

The face detection filter rejects all images that do not contain a clear human face. This includes blurred and partly covered images as well as those with poor light settings. The technology also detects and rejects sketched and animated faces.

Automatic Cropping of Faces

All approved images are returned with a suggested cropping area to ensure uniformity throughout a site.

Celebrity Detection

All images are checked against our global celebrity database and rejected if they contain a celebrity. The database is constantly updated.

Scammer detection

Customers can add any images used by scammers to our global scammer database via a URL. Any image uploaded by a user that matches one of these will be instantly rejected. As more sites contribute to the database and it expands, we can begin to eradicate known scammers from the marketplace.

If a user uploads an image on to your site that has previously been uploaded under a different account, you will be alerted through the XML response. This feature enables you to detect previously unknown scammers.

Free Trial

The trial account is an ideal way to evaluate AIR services. It offers basic service functionality and allows you to scan up to 10 000 images in total.

AIR Real-time

The AIR Real-time service scans users’ images as soon as they are uploaded onto a site and instantly rejects any head shot pictures that do not meet requirements. Users are immediately informed when an image has not been accepted so that they can upload a new image.

AIR Real-time is ideal for subscription based dating services and match making sites that want to speed up their image moderation process. This is particularly important considering that dating site users who successfully upload a valid image are ten times more likely to become paying customers than those that don’t. And, with the moderation process taking as much as 48 hours, instant rejection dramatically increases the probability of users uploading a valid image, thus improving the conversion rate of users to paying customers.

AIR Basic

The AIR Basic service scans any new head shot images that are uploaded onto a site. Images that fail to meet the parameters, such as blurred or partly covered faces, celebrities, renowned scammers and multi-faced images are removed within the space of 24 hours.

AIR Basic is designed for free dating sites that want to control the integrity of their site but don’t have the time or the resources to manually moderate them. This is particularly important considering that on average ⅓ of all uploaded photos are not considered valid. AIR-Basic is also ideal for match making sites that are not as constrained by a lengthy moderation process but want to reduce costs.
