OculusAI Releases First Ever Open-to-All “Google Trends” for Print

Stockholm, Sweden (December 14, 2011)

OculusAI Technologies has launched tmtrackr.com, a brand new service that allows publishers and advertisers to track the advertising campaigns of some of the 100 largest brands in the world by measuring their visual brand (logotype) exposure. tmtrackr.com shows ad placement details as well as the creative, actual ad from print campaigns on both global and local levels.

tmtrackr.com is a powerful data-mining tool for both publishers and advertisers. We can finally give the market more transparency and deep analytics practically in real-time.  This is unprecedented and is the first-of-its-kind in the world. I am convinced that we will see many new revenue streams coming out of this application.” says Siamak Ayani, CEO of OculusAI.

OculusAI is a Computer Vision company that provides highly sophisticated image and content recognition technologies for developers worldwide. Through an easy-to-use, cloud-based service, developers can exploit their advanced technology in an off-the-shelf manner without any prior knowledge of the extensive research-based algorithms involved therein.

“The technology is based on advanced computer vision and artificial intelligence algorithms. The search results are displayed as hits that are placed on a map, allowing users to sort the hits by country or general region and see the major advertisers in the chosen area. Furthermore, the web page allows the user to also compare various brands with each other regarding brand exposure in printed media. We call this a ‘Google Trends’ for the offline media,” says Babak Rasolzadeh, CTO at OculusAI.

Currently, tmtrackr.com results include 186 unique newspapers worldwide, but the company continues to add new publications each month. In the near future, they promise to also add sources including videos and TV.
